"Wants" Versus "Needs"
...And the Cool Toys We See

There is one thing I must say. Your kids do not "need" the toys I offer. I am not trying to say that I don't want you to buy anything. Obviously, selling items is one of my goals. But I want you to understand, as a shopper, that you probably do not truly "need" any one item here.

It is easy to look at all of the wonderful toys available, and think we need just one more.

In fact, the reality is, we have been made by our Creator, and blessed with means to live in this world. Some have more money than others. That is okay. Some children will have more toys. Some will have less. That is all okay. I sometimes stop and think about the early American Settlers, and think about how much they didn't have. All of these things are okay. God has blessed each of us with differing incomes, and our responsibility is to use what He has given us wisely.

If that is to buy a new toy, then by all means buy it! (Here, please. :) )

But, as you shop, please don't get caught up in a "need" mentality. We have already been given all we need by a gracious Heavenly Father. Let's simply use what He has given wisely.

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's." (Exodus 20:17)
